McChord is named after the American air base of the same name in Pierce County, Washington, USA. The jacket is an updated version of the classic flight bomber jacket designated MA-1. It was designed for the US Air Force in the mid-1950s. Our McChord jacket has kept all the timeless elements, such as strong nylon fabric, warming padding and the classic metal zips. Building on this standard, McChord takes the bomber jacket to a new level with fine details, a modern marl-coloured inside and functional insulation.
