Lightning and thunder, magical wonders. At Kosta Boda we celebrate cracks, beautifully preserved in glass. The vases in the pink melting pot from the Crackle series have a sculptural and expressive exterior created using an old craft technique in which the hot glass is dipped into ice-cold water. The cracked surface reflects daylight and reveals its stories of fire, earth and water. The vase is mouth-blown at Kosta and designed by Åsa Jungnelius.
