Golden Angel was created, inspired by Kjell Engman's bathing ladies with the same generous shape, which is an imitation of gospel women from one of his trips to the USA. Golden Angel watches over the ladies as they take a dip in the morning darkness, a lovely gift to give for luck and thoughtfulness. The sculpture from the Kosta Boda Art Collection is shaped at Kosta Glasbruk. The frosted wings are cut, and the body, hand-painted in genuine 24 carat gold, stands on a moulded glass base.
