Lyocell stretch fitted sheet available in four sizes: 90x200 cm, 120x200 cm, 160x200 cm, 180x200 cm. Lyocell is a relatively new concept for many. Lyocell is made from 100 % cellulose, meaning it is made from a kind of wood pulp. The process uses only biodegradable chemicals to break down the cellulose into a kind of paste from which the fibres are extracted. When these fibres are dried and washed, they are woven into fabric. The chemical process is closed-loop, meaning 99 % of the chemicals are reused. The remaining percentage of chemicals is sent to biological treatment plants where they are broken down. Another environmental benefit is that the production process requires less water than producing cotton, for example, and less dye than producing other cellulose fibres. The type of tree used does not matter much. Lyocell is 100 % biodegradable. In addition to its positive environmental effects, lyocell is a very high-quality, durable textile material thanks to its long fibres. The material is naturally antibacterial and absorbs moisture quickly. This gives a cool and comfortable feel against the skin and, as an added plus, it does not crease as easily.
